Slow and Lax

Logan Robertson is a sophomore at Columbia College, SC and is currently pursuing a major in Music. He is a musician, specifically a composer and pianist, but has plans on becoming a symphonic conductor after graduating from college. Adagio for Strings and Harp began being composed during the spring of 2025, during a time of immense internal struggle. It was an unclear future for himself, his academics, and his future career, leading to mental unclarity and fear. However, throughout the compositional process, the piece became a source of hope and reassurance. It is a short piece that illustrates the roller-coaster of emotions Logan went through during the time and the resolve that followed after. It is considered one of the works that Logan is proud of.
