A New Beginning

by Janiah Perry

‍Once cast aside, a leper’s plight,
A life of sorrow shrouded in night.
His skin, a patchwork, marred by disease,
A lonely soul, yearning for release.

But touched by grace, a healing hand,
He found his Savior in a foreign land.
A gentle voice, a loving gaze,
He felt a warmth, a comforting haze.

Through trials and tribulations, he’d stand,
A witness to the Master’s grand plan.
He saw the cross, a heavyweight,
And witnessed his rise, a glorious fate

He’ll share his witness, his faith so true,
Inspiring others, old and new.
A beacon of hope, a guiding light,
In spreading the Gospel, shining bright.
